Ha intervenido en películas como Out of Africa (1985), Empire of the Sun (1987), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) o Venus (2006), además ha prestado su voz a dos entregas de Harry Potter; Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal (2001) y Harry Potter y la cámara secreta (2002) interpretando al Sombrero Seleccionador.
