Danny Boyle (n. Mánchester (Inglaterra); 20 de octubre de 1956) es un director y productor de cine británico, hijo de emigrantes irlandeses católicos. Dirigió los filmes Shallow Grave (1994), Trainspotting (1996), A Life Less Ordinary (1997), La playa (2000), 28 días después (2002), Millones (2004), Sunshine (2007), Slumdog Millionaire (2008), y 127 horas (2010). Slumdog Millionaire le valió una estatuilla al mejor director en la 81ª entrega de los Premios Óscar.

​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Daniel "Danny" Boyle (born 20 October 1956) is an English filmmaker and producer. He is best known for his work on films such as Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, 28 Days Later, Sunshine and Trainspotting. For Slumdog Millionaire, Boyle won numerous awards in 2008, including the Academy Award for Best Director. Boyle was presented with the Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking Award at the 2008 Austin Film Festival, where he also introduced that year's AFF Audience Award Winner Slumdog Millionaire.
